S&P Case-Shiller National Home Price Index (Jan)

S&P Global is scheduled to release its Case-Shiller National Home Price Index for January, while the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) will issue its House Price Index (HPI) that tracks the prices of single-family homes across the USA. The Case-Shiller Index is expected to report a 0.9% decrease in home prices for January, which would mark the seventh consecutive monthly decline. Furthermore, year-over-year, prices are projected to have risen only by 3.7%, which is a slowdown from the 4.6% growth rate recorded in December. This would also mark the slowest annual growth rate since June of 2020.
